SMS Terms of Service

1. SMS Service Overview

Rasterdeck offers SMS-based authentication as a convenient way to create and access your account. By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from Rasterdeck, you agree to these terms.

2. Types of Messages

You may receive the following types of SMS messages from Rasterdeck:

• Verification codes — One-time codes sent when creating a new account or logging into your existing account
• Security alerts — Notifications about account security events

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS.

3. Message Frequency

1 message per login or signup attempt. You will only receive SMS messages when you initiate an action that requires verification, such as logging in or creating an account. Message frequency is entirely based on your activity.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Rasterdeck does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Rasterdeck. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS verification codes.

If you have an email and password associated with your account, you can continue using those credentials to log in. To re-enable SMS authentication after opting out, you will need to contact support or add your phone number again in your account settings.

7. Phone Number Requirements

We only accept valid US mobile phone numbers. VoIP, virtual, and internet-based phone numbers are not supported for SMS authentication to help prevent fraud and abuse.

8. Privacy

Your phone number is used solely for account authentication and will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. For more information about how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

9. Supported Carriers

SMS authentication is supported by most major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carrier support may vary and is subject to change.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS terms from time to time. Continued use of SMS authentication after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
